This geometric composition balances between free upward angled movement and grounded stillness. Another dimension is suggested with the origami-like shape in the lower right corner. The palette, although quite varied and colorful, feels unified and calm. The title is about the action of love as uplifter and destroyer.

This arrangement of blocks of color is inspired by Bauhaus textile art. The rhythmic, yet free and unpredictable pattern is like the adaptive movement of a woman maintaining a dynamic balancing act.

There's an abstract story happening. Amongst the playful colors and strange patterns, a yellow sun hangs overhead and rain drops below. A piece of a peaceful landscape.

This painting is inspired by tribal designs, temple walls and shameless devotion. The work is titled "The Open Safe" because it's feels like a sacred box that's been opened and inside are special things that one can share. It reminds me of this quote by Annie Dillard: "Anything you do not give freely and abundantly becomes lost to you. You open your safe and find ashes.” It's better to open up rather than to remain shut.
